Watching TV

Who would have thought watching TV could bring on a case of “miss him so much it hurts”? I surely didn’t.

I knew watching the finale of America’s Got Talent might be a bit rough emotionally (which boggles me a little), but I figured I could handle it better than what I did. I pretty much spent half the show trying NOT to turn into a blubbering pile of goo. I more or less succeeded, but it was a hard won battle at times.

Now I wonder what other TV series are going to make me go through such emotional upheavals. I am currently trying to get several seasons of House, which I started watching because he told me it was a good show. He is usually dead on when he says he thinks I will like a book, movie, or TV show. I am also looking into getting more episodes of Bones to watch. Great shows…but will they be as rough on me as AGT was last night

I truthfully do not think they will be. I think the thing with AGT was it triggering memories of the time we were both watching it and talking about the show while on the phone. It was actually a lot more fun than it probably sounds. The funny part was that he’d not planned to watch the episode of AGT that he did, if I recall correctly. I wonder if he stayed tuned for us to have something to talk about, or if the show he’d planned on watching was a rerun? I can almost bet he told me, but those who know me will know how bad my CRS syndrome is.

Other than that, this week has been a lot of same old, same old. Tomorrow is the usual Friday running, then maybe by the local library or back here to the college…I’ve not decided which I want to talk mom into. Either way I am going to try and grab an hour or two online Friday that isn’t costing me per megabyte.

I figure we will be going down to see my uncle on Saturday, then homework on Sunday if I don’t finish what little I have before then. School is not making as much of a dent in my free time as I had supposed it would. My medical classes gave a ton more homework than these computer classes are. Oh well, it does take up some time and hopefully next term will be a bit more rigorous.

Hope everyone has a great weekend, though this will probably not post until Saturday…Take care and remember to enjoy every little moment and the little things in life. We never know when they will be taken from us.
