As some of you may know, I’ve been doing anything and everything I can think of to kill time so I don’t obsess over this whole being over 6k miles (including an ocean!) away from someone I love very much. Well, in one class, someone mentioned Microsoft Publisher and how easy it is to use. Boy were they right! I’ve gone crazy with some design projects.

I started making special stationary that I could print out and send in letters to BC. I had fun searching for images and figuring out just how I wanted them. Then I’d save unlined, add lines and resave the lined version separately for many of the stationeries I made. I also made some Christmassy ones as well. I even went out and got colored printing paper to use for these stationaries and I must say- they come out really nice when I use the best print quality on my Lexmark printer.

Another thing I made was what I call note cards. They are several to a sheet of regular paper. Each one has a short saying on them and you cut them out. The ones I made are meant for your significant other. Those were hard to think of some of the sayings for but lots of fun!
