Thank you for you’re interesting in submitting a guest post to Gurl’s Asylum. I hope the following guidelines will help you in deciding if this blog will be the right place for your post!

Topics

Topics can include any of the following or something related:

• Blogging
• How To’s (blogging or other!)
• Romance/Relationship
• Entertainment (Movies, Books, TV…)
  
• Best of lists (with in other topics, preferably)
• Others…email me with your topic and we can discuss how fits in
  

Post Guidelines

• Posts should be between 300 and 1,000 words in length. Anything longer, mail me and we can look at making it a series of posts.
• Posts should be reasonably free of grammatical and spelling errors–Send me a post that you would be proud to put up as is.
• I reserve the right to edit for the errors mentioned above.
• You may add 1 to 2 links to your own posts within the text of the guest post. You may link to other sites as you would on your own blog.
• You may add pictures to your post. Keep in mind that they should be right or center aligned for posts with lists or bullets near the picture’s location due my theme messing up the bullets/numbering if it is left aligned.
• Please send the post in a text (.txt) document, with all the proper HTML for links, etc.
• Include an short bio, a pic, and the link you want included in your “resource box”

Other Considerations

• If you want to run a “regular” series of guest posts here, contact me and we will talk about it.
